A flanged Y strainer is a Y-shaped pipeline filter with flanged end connections. It uses a perforated or mesh screen to trap debris, scale, and particulates from flowing liquids or gases. The screen is housed in an angled body (the "Y" shape) that allows easy cleaning — simply remove the threaded or bolted cap and pull out the screen. Flanged connections make installation secure and leak-free, ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature systems.
We manufacture flanged y strainers from 1/2" to 12" (DN15–DN300) as standard, with custom sizes up to 24" (DN600) available. Pressure ratings include ANSI 150 and ANSI 300 in stock, with ANSI 600, DIN PN10/16/25/40, and JIS 10K/20K available on request. All strainers are hydrostatically tested at 1.5x rated pressure.
