In industrial terminology, a sluice valve is another name for a gate valve โ€” specifically one with a rising stem and a wedge-shaped disc that slides into a seat. Our flanged sluice valves are designed for full-bore, straight-through flow with minimal pressure drop, ideal for on/off service in water and wastewater lines.

2. Can you supply flanged sluice valves to ANSI/ASME B16.5 Class 150 drilling?

Yes โ€” 100% standard. Our flanged sluice valves are manufactured with ASME B16.5 Class 125, 150, and 300 raised-face flanges. We also offer EN 1092-2 and JIS B2220 drilling for global projects. All flanges are gaged and certified before shipment.

3. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom flanged sluice valves?

Our standard MOQ is 5 units for sizes up to DN300 (12"), and 2 units for larger diameters. For OEM designs with special coatings or actuators, we can discuss lower MOQs on a case-by-case basis. Sample orders are always welcome.

4. How do you ensure quality control during production?

We follow a strict QC plan: incoming material inspection (PMI & chemical analysis), in-process dimensional checks, 100% hydrostatic shell and seat testing per API 598, and final visual/coating inspection. Each valve receives a unique serial number with full traceability. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TรœV) is welcome at no extra coordination fee.

5. What is the typical lead time for a flanged sluice valve order to the USA?

Standard lead time is 20โ€“25 working days after order confirmation and deposit. For urgent projects, we offer a 10โ€“15 working day express service (additional 8% surcharge). Sea freight to US West Coast takes approximately 18โ€“22 days; East Coast 25โ€“30 days. We provide CIF, FOB, or DDP terms.
