Eliminate tank collapse, reduce evaporation loss by 37%, and meet OSHA/EPA compliance with our engineered pressure vacuum relief valves (PVRV). Designed for bulk storage, chemical terminals, and oil & gas facilities.
✅ ISO 9001 · CE · API 2000 Compliant · 10+ Years of Export Experience to USA
A standard 10,000-barrel tank without a proper PVRV valve can lose up to $12,000/year in evaporated product. In high-volatility markets, that number doubles.
Vacuum implosion or over-pressurization causes $50k–$500k in damage per incident. In the US alone, storage tank failures cost the industry $287M annually (2024 API report).
EPA Method 21 and OSHA 1910.146 require proper tank venting. Non-compliance fines range from $15k to $75k per day. Your current valve may not meet API 2000 7th edition.
Inferior valves stick, corrode, and fail within 6–12 months. Each emergency replacement costs $3k–$8k in labor and lost production time.
These risks are real – and preventable. See how Thriveon solves them.
Our pressure vacuum relief valves are engineered for reliability, precision, and longevity. Here’s what sets them apart:
Every PVRV valve from Thriveon is designed and tested to meet API 2000 7th edition and ISO 28300 standards. Set points from 0.5 psi to 15 psi with blowdown accuracy of ±3%. You get tank protection that regulatory auditors trust.
Standard valves use 304 SS; ours use 316L SS for the seat, disc, and spring. Result: 5x longer service life in sour crude, chemical, and offshore environments. Less maintenance, fewer replacements.
Our patented PTFE diaphragm seal keeps fugitive emissions below 100 ppm, exceeding EPA Method 21 requirements. Protect your workers and the environment while staying compliant.
Unlike competitors who quote 8–12 weeks, Thriveon delivers standard PVRV valves in 15 days from order to departure. Need a custom set point or flange? 25 days max. We keep your project on schedule.
Send us your tank operating parameters, nozzle size, and material preferences. Our 10+ year engineers design a custom PVRV valve tailored to your process. No extra engineering fee for orders above 20 units.
Every valve undergoes seat leakage test, set pressure test, and vacuum test. You receive a signed test certificate, material traceability report (MTR), and assembly drawing with each order.

Thriveon valves are installed in 17 countries, including the United States, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Italy. Our commitment to quality and delivery has earned us long-term partnerships.
“We replaced our old breather valves with Thriveon’s PVRV valves across 12 tanks. Evaporation loss dropped 31% in the first quarter. The team delivered 3 weeks faster than any US supplier.”
— Mark S., Maintenance Manager, TexChem Global (Texas, USA)
“The OEM customization process was seamless. Thriveon engineered a vacuum relief valve for our high-altitude ethanol tanks that no other vendor could match. Zero failures in 18 months.”
— Dr. Elena R., Process Engineer, BioSynth Labs (Milan, Italy)
“We were skeptical about sourcing from China, but Thriveon’s quality documentation and API 2000 compliance gave us confidence. Their prices saved us 40% vs. European suppliers.”
— Johan P., Supply Chain Director, PetroStar Refining (Dammam, SA)

PVRV stands for Pressure Vacuum Relief Valve, also called a breather valve or conservation vent. It automatically releases excess pressure and admits vacuum to prevent tank rupture or collapse. It also reduces product evaporation by minimizing vapor loss during normal tank “breathing” cycles. Thriveon’s PVRV valves comply with API 2000 for safe, reliable operation.
Selection depends on your tank operating pressure, vapor pressure of the stored product, and API 2000 guidelines. As a rule of thumb: set pressure should be 10–20% above the normal operating pressure, and vacuum set point should protect against the worst-case withdrawal rate. Our engineering team can help you calculate the exact values. Send us your tank parameters for a free sizing recommendation.
For standard sizes (2″–12″) with common materials, 15 days from order to shipping. Custom set points, exotic materials, or larger sizes typically ship in 25 days. We also offer expedited production for emergency orders – contact our team for details. All shipping is FOB Tianjin or Shanghai.
Yes, every single valve is 100% tested before shipment. You will receive a signed test certificate including set pressure, seat leakage, vacuum test results, and material traceability reports (MTR). Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, etc.) is available upon request at cost.
We offer a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of shipment. If a valve fails due to material or workmanship, we will replace it free of charge (excl. shipping). For custom-engineered valves, warranty terms are defined per project. Contact us for full warranty details.
Absolutely. We can supply 316L SS wetted parts with FDA-grade PTFE seals, electropolished surfaces, and full material traceability. Our valves are suitable for food-grade storage, pharmaceutical intermediates, and high-purity chemicals. Just specify your requirements in the inquiry.

“We ordered 45 PVRV valves for our Texas terminal. The quality is on par with Emerson and L&J, but at 60% of the cost. The documentation package was complete – MTRs, test certificates, and CAD drawings. We’re ordering another 30 units next month.”
“Thriveon’s team helped us design a custom PVRV for a high-pressure diesel hydrotreater unit. No other Chinese supplier could handle the 10 psi set point with ATEX certification. The valve has been running flawlessly for 14 months.”
“I’ve been sourcing industrial valves for 20 years. Thriveon is one of the most reliable factories I’ve worked with. Their PVRV valves are well-machined, seat leakage is zero, and they actually answer technical questions instead of just sending a price list.”
“We switched to Thriveon after our previous supplier raised prices by 35%. Same API 2000 compliance, same quality, but 42% cheaper. Their US logistics partner handles customs clearance smoothly. Highly recommend for US buyers.”
“The free sample program convinced us. We tested a 4″ PVRV on our ethanol storage tank for 60 days. Zero maintenance, zero leaks. The full order of 20 units arrived early. That never happens with other suppliers.”
