A fully jacketed ball valve has a continuous, integral jacket cavity around the entire body, providing uniform heat transfer. Standard valves with bolt-on steam tracing create hot and cold spots, leading to polymer coking. Jacketed valves offer much higher thermal efficiency and lower energy consumption.
