A full bore service valve (also called full port valve) has a bore diameter equal to the pipe internal diameter. Use it wherever you need unrestricted flow, pigging capability, or minimum pressure drop – common in oil & gas pipelines, refinery transfer lines, and viscous fluid applications. Reduced-port valves are only for throttling or dead-end service.
