For procurement managers and plant engineers tired of frequent priming failures and short valve life: Thriveon's precision-machined foot valves (1" and 2") deliver consistent sealing, corrosion resistance, and rapid delivery—direct from our Hebei factory.
✅ ISO 9001 certified · CE marked · Free sample available for qualified buyers
Standard foot valves lose seal after 3–6 months, causing pump dry-run damage. unplanned downtime costs $2,700+ per incident in lost production.
Many budget valves use thin galvanized coatings that fail within weeks in chemical or brackish water. Result: contaminated lines, valve replacement every 8 months.
Sourcing from decentralized suppliers means split shipments, 45+ day lead times, and freight costs eating 15-20% of your valve budget.
Without factory-direct inspection, you risk mixed materials (e.g., brass vs. low-grade bronze) and thread leaks that require costly rework.
Our foot valves are designed specifically for industrial water supply, irrigation, and process pump systems where reliability is non-negotiable.
CNC-machined brass and stainless steel seats ensure bubble-tight seal up to 200 PSI. No more leakage after short cycling.
Choose from 316 stainless steel, naval brass, or ductile iron with epoxy coating – each tested for 1,000+ hours in salt spray (ASTM B117).
Built-in 20-mesh and 40-mesh dual-layer strainers prevent debris ingress while minimizing flow restriction. Debris capacity 2x vs. standard designs.
As a integrated manufacturer, we ship full container or LCL within 15–25 days. Combine foot valves with other valve types to save 20% on freight.
Need special thread (NPT/BSP/G), custom spring tension, or non-standard strainer mesh? Our engineers deliver prototypes in 10 working days.
Each valve batch comes with material test reports, pressure test certificates, and ISO 9001:2015 traceability.

A foot valve is a specialized check valve with a built-in strainer, designed to be installed at the bottom of a pump suction line. It keeps the pump primed by preventing water from draining back, while the strainer blocks debris. A standard check valve only prevents backflow without straining.
For brackish or saline water, we recommend 316 stainless steel body with Viton seals. This combination offers the highest corrosion resistance and sealing longevity. Brass is suitable for fresh water, while ductile iron with epoxy coating works in treated wastewater.

For standard sizes (1" and 2") in brass or ductile iron, lead time is 15–20 working days for quantities up to 500 units. Stainless steel and custom OEM orders typically take 20–25 working days. We offer expedited production for urgent projects.
Yes, we offer free samples for qualified buyers (please cover shipping). Sample orders typically ship within 5 working days. This allows you to test fit, seal performance, and material quality before committing to volume.
We offer both NPT (National Pipe Thread) and BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread options. Our standard stock includes NPT for US-market orders. BSP and G-thread are available on request with the same lead time.
Our 2" foot valve is rated for 200 PSI (13.8 bar) at temperatures up to 120°C. For higher-pressure applications (up to 300 PSI), we can adjust the spring tension and sealing design—please consult our engineering team.
Our foot valve features a dual-layer strainer that can be accessed by unscrewing the lower cap. This allows for quick cleaning without breaking the pipe connection. We recommend inspecting the strainer every 3 months in clean water applications.
We accept T/T (wire transfer), L/C at sight, and Western Union for international orders. For first-time buyers, a 30% deposit with 70% balance before shipment is standard. Established clients with good credit history may qualify for net 30 terms on smaller orders.
For a limited time, get free samples for qualified procurement projects and priority production slots (15-day lead time). Our engineers are ready to review your application and provide a tailored recommendation.
