Ductile Iron Foot Valve

Ductile Iron Foot Valve – Reliable, Corrosion-Resistant, and Cost-Effective for Industrial Pumping Systems

Engineered for water, wastewater, and industrial applications – our ductile iron foot valve prevents backflow, maintains prime, and reduces downtime. Trusted by US pump distributors and plant managers since 2008.

Why Your Current Foot Valve Is Costing You Time & Money

❌ Frequent Clogging & Backflow

Standard cast iron foot valves often get stuck due to debris, causing pump losing prime. Reports show up to 30% increase in maintenance calls.

❌ Corrosion & Short Lifespan

Many cheap valves use inferior materials that rust quickly in water/wastewater, requiring replacement every 12-18 months.

❌ High Shipping & Import Delays

Overseas suppliers often miss deadlines or add hidden freight costs. Typical lead times stretch to 60+ days, disrupting project schedules.

❌ Lack of Technical Support

Many manufacturers offer no engineering backup. When specs are wrong, you’re left with non-returnable stock.

Thriveon’s Ductile Iron Foot Valve – Engineered for Performance & Reliability

Our foot valves are crafted from high-grade ductile iron (GGG40/50) with stainless steel spring and PCV disc, offering exceptional strength and durability. Designed for flanged connections – ideal for water pumps, irrigation, and fire protection systems.

🔧 Superior Material & Coating

Ductile iron body (ASTM A536) with fusion-bonded epoxy coating – resists corrosion, abrasion, and chemicals. Tested for 10,000+ cycles.

🚀 Precision Machining & Tight Seal

CNC-machined seat and Buna-N disc ensure bubble-tight shut-off. Low cracking pressure (0.5 psi) prevents pump dry run.

⚙️ Standardized Dimensions

Flange drilling per ANSI B16.1 class 125/150. Available in sizes 2” to 12”. Fully interchangeable with major brands.

📦 Fast Delivery & OEM Support

We stock popular sizes for quick shipment (15-20 days FOB Tianjin). Custom painting, logo, and packaging available.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ductile Iron Foot Valves

1. What is a ductile iron foot valve used for?

A ductile iron foot valve is installed at the bottom of a pump suction line to keep the pump primed and prevent backflow. It uses a spring-loaded disc that opens under pump suction and closes when flow stops. Ductile iron provides higher strength and shock resistance compared to gray iron, making it ideal for pressure applications.

2. What sizes and flange standards do you offer?

We stock sizes 2” (DN50) to 12” (DN300) in ANSI B16.1 class 125/150 flanges. Custom drilling for DIN, JIS, and other standards is available for OEM orders. Contact us for non-standard dimensions.

3. Can you provide custom OEM/ODM products (logo, color, packaging)?

Yes. We offer full OEM/ODM services: custom painting (any RAL color), laser engraving, private label packaging, and special thread or gasket options. MOQ for OEM is typically 50 pcs per size. Request a custom quote.

4. How long does shipping take to the US? What about shipping costs?

Typical lead time is 15-25 days for stock items (FOB Tianjin). For bulk orders, 30-35 days. We work with major freight forwarders (MSC, Maersk) to secure competitive rates. Sea freight to Los Angeles/New York averages $2,000-$4,000 per container depending on size. We can also arrange DDP delivery for qualified buyers.

5. What about warranty and after-sales service?

We provide a standard 18-month warranty against manufacturing defects. For any quality issues, we offer free replacement or refund. Our engineers are available via WhatsApp or email for troubleshooting. We also keep a small inventory in our US partner warehouse for emergency replacements.

6. Do you offer free samples for testing?

Yes. We can provide 1-2 sample units for pre-qualification (freight cost shared). For first-time buyers from the US, we also offer a “try before you buy” program – order a small batch at cost price to evaluate quality. Contact us to arrange.
