A wafer butterfly valve is designed to fit between two pipe flanges, with bolts that surround the valve body. It is lighter and more cost-effective. A lug type has threaded inserts that allow for "dead-end" service (downstream disconnection). Thriveon offers both styles, but the wafer is best for standard isolating applications.
Yes. We provide full valve + actuator assemblies. Our wafer valves feature an ISO 5211 mounting pad, making actuator integration simple. We can pre-mount and test any actuator (electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic) before shipping.
For standard size wafer valves (DN50-DN300), our lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation. For larger sizes or custom materials, lead times are 6–8 weeks. We also offer express production for urgent projects. Shipping via sea to US West Coast takes approximately 18–25 days.
