For standard sizes (2"-8", Class 150/300), our lead time is 25-30 working days. For fully customized valves with exotic materials or special actuators, the typical lead time is 40-45 working days. We also offer a Rapid Express service that can ship standard valves in just 12-15 days.
In industrial practice: Equal Percentage (EQ%) is best for pressure drop applications (e.g., steam control) where most control happens in the first 30-50% of travel. Linear is suitable for level control or blending applications where the pressure drop is relatively constant. Our engineers can simulate your system dynamics to recommend the optimal trim.
