Eliminate fugitive emissions and costly downtime. Our 3-piece forged stainless steel socket weld ball valves deliver zero-leak performance for high-pressure steam, oil & gas, and chemical applications — with factory-direct pricing and full OEM/ODM engineering support.
Get Free Quote in 24h + Free SampleNPT threaded connections loosen and weep after repeated heating/cooling cycles. In a 2025 refinery study, 37% of unplanned shutdowns were caused by threaded valve leaks.
A single 1/2" socket weld ball valve failure in a 300 psi steam line can waste $2,800/day in energy and product. Low-grade imports often fail within 6 months.
Standard US suppliers quote 8–12 weeks for stainless steel socket weld ball valves. A delayed pipeline tie-in can cost $15,000 per day in contractor standby.
Many low-cost suppliers cannot provide material traceability (EN 10204 3.1) or NPSI/ISO 17292 test reports. That means your QA team rejects the batch at incoming inspection.
Full-penetration socket weld ends per ASME B16.11. No threads to gall, no gaskets to extrude. Rated up to 3000 psi (PN200) and 800°F (427°C).
Every valve is tested at 1.5× rated pressure. Zero seat leakage allowed. Includes serialized test certificate with each unit.
Belleville washers compensate for thermal expansion. No cold-flow creep — proven over 50,000 cycles in steam and caustic service.
We stock raw forgings and machined components in our Hebei factory. Expedited 10-day service available for urgent projects.
Mill certificates, PMI test reports, and NPSI documentation provided with every order. Your QA team will approve on first sight.
Need special bore size, extended stem, or cryogenic service? Our 10+ year senior engineers deliver custom designs in 5–7 days.
A socket weld ball valve has ends machined to accept pipe inserted into a recess, then welded around the outside. It provides a permanent, leak-tight joint suitable for high-pressure (up to 3000+ psi) and high-temperature services (up to 800°F) where threaded connections would leak or vibrate loose. Use it for steam, hydraulic oil, chemicals, and gas systems.
304 offers good corrosion resistance for water, steam, and mild chemicals. 316 (with molybdenum) provides superior resistance to chlorides, acids, and saltwater. For offshore, chemical plants, or any chloride environment, 316 is the standard choice. Both are available with full ASME traceability.
Every valve undergoes 100% hydrostatic shell and seat testing per API 598. We also offer optional helium leak testing (1×10⁻⁶ mbar·L/s). Our live-loaded seats maintain sealing force even after thermal cycling — proven in 50,000-cycle endurance tests.
Absolutely. Our engineering team (15+ years average experience) can modify bore size, stem length, end configuration, seat material, and surface finish. We provide 2D/3D drawings within 5–7 days. Minimum order quantity for custom valves is 50 pcs.
Standard lead time is 15 working days for quantities up to 500 pcs. We ship via sea (LCL or FCL) to Houston, Los Angeles, or Newark. Typical freight cost for a 1/2" – 2" valve sample is $45–$85 (DDP option available). For bulk orders, we can consolidate to save you up to 20% on shipping.

We accept T/T wire transfer, L/C at sight, and for qualified US companies — net 30 terms after 2 transactions. PayPal is available for sample orders. All payments are secured via our letter of credit facility with HSBC.
Yes. We offer up to 2 free sample valves (1/2" or 3/4") for qualified engineers and purchasing managers. You only pay shipping (approx. $45). If you place a production order within 60 days, we deduct the sample cost from your invoice.
“We ordered 1,200 pcs of 1” stainless steel socket weld ball valves for a petrochemical project. The PMI reports and hydro test certificates were perfect — our QA team approved the entire batch in one day. Delivery was 13 days, not the promised 15. Impressive.”
— David K., Procurement Manager, Louisiana Chemical Co.
“I’ve been buying valves for 22 years — Thriveon’s 3-piece forged construction is as good as any US-made valve I’ve seen. The price was 32% lower, and the engineering support from Jack was top-notch. We’ve standardized on their socket weld ball valves for all our high-pressure steam lines.”
— Mark T., VP of Engineering, Midwest Refining LLC
“The OEM customization was seamless. We needed a special extended stem with a locking handle for our offshore platform. Thriveon delivered 300 pcs in 18 days with full NACE MR0175 compliance. The valves have been in service for 14 months with zero issues.”
— Carlos R., Subsea Engineer, Aberdeen, UK
“We were skeptical about importing valves from China. But the sample valve we tested outperformed the brand we were using. 50,000 cycle test with no leakage. Now we’re rolling out Thriveon valves across 3 of our plants. Highly recommend.”
— Steven L., Maintenance Manager, Ontario Power Generation
