A single piece ball valve (monobloc design) has the end caps integral to the body – no bolted joints, no gaskets, and no potential leak paths. Two-piece and three-piece valves have separable end caps, which makes them easier to repair in-line but adds leak points. The one-piece design offers the highest pressure integrity and the lowest fugitive emission risk, making it the preferred choice for critical service, high-pressure, and environmentally sensitive applications.

Yes. Thriveon offers full-port single piece ball valves with NPT (ASME B1.20.1), BSP (ISO 7-1), and SW ends in sizes ¼" to 2". Our standard full-port bore is 15% larger than reduced-port designs, minimizing pressure drop and allowing pigging and scraping operations. We also offer flanged, butt-weld, and sanitary tri-clamp ends for the same body.

For standard sizes (¼"–2") with common materials (SS304, SS316), our MOQ is just 10 pieces. For custom alloys (Hastelloy, Monel, Duplex), special end connections, or custom coatings, the MOQ is typically 50–100 pieces, depending on complexity. Select seat material based on operating temperature, chemical compatibility, and cycle frequency:
PTFE (Virgin): -40°F to 400°F, excellent for general service, acids, and solvents.
RTFE (Reinforced): Tougher than PTFE, better wear resistance in particle-laden fluids.
PEEK: -40°F to 600°F, high strength, excellent for high-pressure steam and aggressive chemicals.
UHMWPE: Excellent wear resistance for abrasive slurries.

For standard sizes (¼"–2") in SS304/SS316 with PTFE seats: 7–15 working days from receipt of order and payment. Custom sizes, alloys, or special coatings typically require 20–35 working days. We also offer express production (72 hours) for stocked emergency orders, and air freight (3–5 days door-to-door) for urgent projects.

Every valve is serial-numbered with a full material traceability record (MTR). Our QC process includes: (1) incoming material inspection with chemical analysis, (2) in-process dimensional checks, (3) hydrostatic shell test at 1.5× rated pressure, (4) seat leak test per API 598 (Class VI shutoff), (5) optional NDT (DP, MPI, or X-ray), and (6) final visual inspection with packaging check. A signed test certificate is included with each shipment. Our facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
