NC stands for "Normally Closed". This means the valve is closed when the coil is de-energized, and it opens when power is applied to the coil. It is the most common fail-safe configuration used to shut off flow during a power loss.
You must match the solenoid coil voltage to your control system’s output. Common industrial voltages include DC 24V and AC 220V. We strongly recommend using a regulated power supply to prevent coil burnout. We can provide custom coils for DC 12V, AC 110V, and other voltages.
A Direct Acting NC valve does not require minimum pressure to operate; it can open from 0 PSI. It is limited to smaller orifice sizes. A Pilot Operated NC valve uses line pressure to help open the valve, making it ideal for high-flow applications, but it requires a minimum pressure differential (usually 5-10 PSI) to function correctly.
Yes. We offer VITON (FKM) seals as a standard option for many of our brass and stainless steel NC solenoid valves. VITON is excellent for high-temperature applications (up to 180°C) and is resistant to fuels, oils, and aggressive chemicals. Please specify your media and temperature when requesting a quote.
For standard NC solenoid valves (brass body, NBR seal, common voltages), the lead time is 15-25 days with a low Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) of just 50 pieces for standard sizes. For custom OEM orders, lead time is typically 25-40 days depending on complexity. We offer sample ordering for testing and qualification.
Absolutely. We offer a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of shipment. If a valve fails due to faulty materials or workmanship during this period, we will replace it free of charge. This is our commitment to quality and partnership.
