Single-stage regulators are compact but can drift as tank pressure drops. Two-stage regulators provide stable outlet pressure regardless of inlet changes, making them essential for precision industrial burners, vaporizers, and sensitive gas trains. We recommend two-stage for all fixed industrial installations.
Calculate total BTU load and divide by 2,516 to get required SCFH. Choose a regulator with maximum flow rating at least 20% higher than your demand. Our engineering team provides free sizing for inlet pressure, line length, and pipe diameter.
