A first-stage regulator mounts directly to the propane tank and reduces pressure from tank pressure (up to 250 psi) to around 10 psi. A second-stage regulator further reduces this to appliance-usable pressure (typically 0.5–2 psi). For most commercial kitchen or warehouse applications, you need a two-stage system for consistent flow. We bundle first-stage + second-stage kits for hassle-free installation.
