ISO 9001:2015 API 600 API 602 CE/PED API 607 (Fire Safe) NACE MR0175 SIL 2/3 (Capable)Rising stem (OS&Y) gate valves provide a visual indicator of the valve stem position and are preferred for industrial applications where space allows. The stem rises above the handwheel when opened. Non-rising stem (NRS) valves are used where vertical space is limited, but they do not provide a visual open/closed indication. OS&Y is standard for API 600 large gate valves.
Standard pressure ratings for cast steel gate valves are defined by ASME B16.34 and include Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, and Class 2500. Thriveon manufactures all standard classes with WCB, LCB, or alloy body materials.
For standard services, 13Cr (13% Chrome) trim is common for moderate temperatures and corrosion resistance.
