It typically features a breakaway stem coupling to prevent valve damage during traffic accidents, a longer stem for deep burial, and complies with AWWA C504 for waterworks. Standard butterfly valves lack these safety and installation-specific features.
Yes. All our hydrant butterfly valves are designed and tested to comply with AWWA C504. We also offer NSF/ANSI 61 certified EPDM lining for potable water applications. Material test reports (MTRs) and pressure test certificates are included with every order.
Absolutely. Our OEM/ODM service allows custom stem lengths from 12 inches up to 72 inches or more. We also offer gear operators and floor stands for easy operation in deep pits. Just provide your B.D. (bury depth) requirement.
For standard sizes (4″–12″), our lead time is 15–25 days. For larger sizes or custom builds, it is typically 30–40 days. This is significantly faster than the industry average of 20+ weeks. We also stock popular sizes for emergency orders.
We are currently in the process of UL/FM certification for our waterworks valve line. For projects requiring UL/FM today, we can provide detailed engineering documentation and work with your AHJ for alternative acceptance. Many of our valves have been accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Every hydrant butterfly valve undergoes a 100% hydrostatic shell test and a 100% seat leakage test (air and water) per API 598. Our double-offset disc design provides a bubble-tight shut-off even at low pressures (10 PSI).
We accept T/T (30% deposit, 70% before shipment), L/C at sight, and Western Union. For long-term partners, net 60 terms may be available. Shipping is via FOB Tianjin or CIF to your nearest US port. We handle all export documentation and customs clearance support.
